In my 91 I just swapped the complete seats. If I remember right there we're 4 nuts holding the each seat on U might want to research this I did it last year and @ 35 my memory is going to crap ). I do remember it took me all of about a hour from start to finish and that included vacuuming when the seats we're out.
On the seat bottoms...reach under the front of the seat and you will feel a wire bail catching onto the plastic seat pan. Push it down and back to unhook the cushion from the seat pan. Once unhooked, pull the seat bottom cushion out of the pan. You can also feel the wire bail if you reach between the front of the seat bottom cushion and the seat bottom shell. I've unhooked them both ways.
On the seat backs...push the mid to low section of the side bolsters inward and toward the seatback shell by reaching behind the side of the cushion between the plastic back and the cushion. You may have to push hard to unhook the wire frame from the clip that's attached to the seatback shell. This will unhook one lower side of the cushion.
Do the same on the upper end by the headrest. Once one complete side is unhooked, just pull the top and bottom of the cushion toward the door opening while at the same time keeping the seat cushion as flush to the seatback shell as possible, they should unhook from the inner clips.
Good luck getting the seat back cushions snapped back in, they are a chore to do. Installing one side isn't too bad, it's just getting the other side to hook onto the clip. Patience and Aggressive pushing in and toward the seat back shell seems to be the only way to get the wire frame of the cushions to catch onto the clip again. Much easier to remove than re-install.
Get a large cheap screwdriver with a wide blade....Grind a "V' in the blade and use it to push the hook into the catch.....Works alot easier for us 'Ol men, I'm 70 and had one off the other day....Had it back on in no time at all with my trusty V notched screwdriver......
Have a Great Day!!!!!!!!
