Default Lower Radiator Baffle

Anyone know where to get one for a 1984 Corvette? My car does not have one, at all. I've checked the usual catalogs, with no luck. Thanks.

Believe I got mine from corvette central (corvettecentral.com). Part #244473.

Oops, says for 85-89, 84 shows discontinued. Might try used salvage for a decent one.

I couldnt find one either. I was missing everything out of the middle where the front spoiler was suposed to be.

I ended up making my own out of sheet aluminum. real easy.

or you could buy one of those big mouth air dams.
the seller is on here somewhere.

I looked for one for months, they just aren't to be had as far as I know. Jason at vette2vette even did some leg work for me with some of his other contacts. I finally wound up doing something similar to what Brian did. Best of luck.

If you can find one, great, but if not don't sweat it.You don't really need it.Mine's gone, and it runs cool and gets plenty of air to the filter without it.
Now your gonna hear...why did GM build it with one?Who knows.Looks cool maybe. They did alot of strange things on these cars.

That's the center air dam Gold, the lower baffle is where the dam bolts to. And yeah Gimme, I ran without one for a long time, but I did see some drop in temp after I got the air dam setup back on. The baffle for the 84 is for that year only.

Try http://www.contemporarycorvette.com/. I've had nothing but good dealings with them in the past.

Try http://vette2vette.com/ this is probably a boneyard find and these are pretty good folks. Helped me out with a valet key bezel about 6 months ago.
