Tint repair???
Just wondering.....
Is it possible to repair a hole in window tint....or does it need to be stripped and replaced by a pro. Maybe DIY kits????
I've got a BB sized hole in the tint on my drivers window. Tint dude quotes $65 to strip and replace tint.
Anything I should try? I REALLY wanna try gluing a hunk of something in the hole. Gotta be something that would be a close match...Probably an extremely bad idea, right??????

.....agreed.....after a bit of time, the tint will lighten a bit and even if the repair was well done, you'd see it anyways.....$65 to do just 1 windos?...i had my whole car done for that including a 1 piece hatch......

Its a bad idea as the match wont be what you would want to see. If I may suggest tear off the tint yourself and find another tint guy. $65 for a single door window is a rip off but its a sure bet this fellow hates removing old tint which can be a pain. So im banking the attitude is hes going to pass on his pain to you as the customer. GC
