Don't care for the styling changes - looks like an MR2.

They don't need to -- it's a halo car. It will be interesting to see what they are worth in 10 years....

Those cars have been debated until the dead horse kicked one last time. Corvette Forum members, clearly do not understand that model for the most part.

Someguy caught some videos and great pictures from the car (the $305k one) when it was brand new

OnyxC4, I agree with your thinking, just look at how the C4 Speedsters have retained their values!

Thats an arrogant statement if I ever heard one

FWIW, I am a forum member and I "understand" the car (and previous editions) very well thank you!

IMO (I am still entitled to that am I not?), it's still UGLY as hell and over priced.

There will be those who feel otherwise and will part with the price of 7 C6Z's to own one.

And in years to come, they may hold thier value. Then again, they may not due to the design. Time will tell?

The speedster was a cool looking and performing vehicle for the period I don't think the styling on this particular model quite hits the mark. But again, thats one man's opinion

I'll make you a deal.

You stop considering all Forum members are ignorant, trailer dwelling neanderthals, and I'll stop thinking you're a

I suppose you could be the exception however, taking such issue with a general statment that can be backed up with plenty of C16 "hater" threads at this site (typically in C6 General), I am probably not far off, considering your post, if I lumped you right in there

That out of the way, go see the car in person, then decide

Callaway could get a lot richer a lot quicker if he just produced manifolds for that eaton blower. I'd be in line for one.

Corvette Forum members, clearly do not understand that model for the most part.
And making such a general statement in the first place was such a quality thing to do

Have you done any type of search or "research" into how many "we like the C16" type of threads or responses there are on this or any other forum? I'm not defending the forum, it's simply that you're likely to find the same response on most forums.

I don't own a C6 so I don't go to that section much if at all. I did (unitl the exodus) spend an inordinate amount of time in OT. There you'd see tons of these kinds of threads. Some positive, some negative.

You don't see it a lot in C4.

Regardless, I still think you were out of line with your generalization of all forum members. You made the comment, I merely responded to it
Qualify or narrow you statement next time and you'll probably not get sucker (sorry, we didn't have a bit*h slapped smiley )

You can "lump" me anywhere you want. It's a freaking internet site and I'm to old to give a **** anyway

Finally, why should I need to "go see the car in person?" Ugly is ugly, period! I know what I see, and I don't care for it. At that point, I could care less if they shoves an F18 jet engine up it's ****, it's still fuggin' UGLY. Clear now?

I (key word "I") don't care for the styling of the C16, period!

I'd kill for one of thier LeMans (out of production-molds gone) but this one just misses the mark in my book

Thanks for you time...now fill out your profile so we have some idea who, what and where? Hate having a battle of wits with an unarmed person...with no profile, we just have to assume

Is it just me or does it just look like a rip off of an Aston Martin? I don't think calloway has really made a nice body kit since the c4...

Actually, I wasn't thinking just guessing. And, while I am at it, my guess is they will NOT hold their value and folks will lose more money on these than on regular C16's!

It is all about individual taste. I think the C16 is gorgeous, and does not look much like an Aston at all. The Speedster to me is not worth 2X the price of the "basic" C16 and is not as nice looking. But that's just me.

Also, I don't understand the insults. Let's be honest --there ARE some folks on this Forum who don't "get it" about Callaways or some of the other collector Vettes. So what. I have a sound system, and I totally don't "get it" about hi-priced sound systems. Can barely tell the difference and don't see the value. But, I wouldn't get upset if somebody were to call me on that. In fact, I wouldn't care!
