Default Engine oil extractor pump

I bought an Engine oil vacuum pump extractor on Ebay. It works cool. Stick the suction tube down the oil dipstick and 10 minutes later, oil is pumped into oil container. Main reason I bought it was to save from stripping out oil pan bolts. Works great. 40 bucks on Ebay.

Wow, ya ain't supposed to use a 10ft. breaker bar on those things.

Seriously, I have never stripped out an oil pan bolt on any car/truck I've ever changed the oil on. Just snug them down, they don't need to be 100ft/lbs.

From what I see, they work super on my wife's MB. Why? Because they have a "belly pan" to protect the engine so you would have to take it off first to get at the drain bolt. HOWEVER, the filter is on top. So, with this system, you never have to get below. In our case, the filter is also below.

Make sure you don't use it on a hot engine. Friend of mine did on a 93 and the plastic tube melted before he was finished. Now he's dropping the pan.
