Tie down points for trailering?
Hey all,
Anyone have any feedback on tie down points to use on a C4 when it is trailered? I have not really looked under the front yet, so I don't know if there are towing loops there. In the back, I didn't see any towing loops. Maybe I could hook to the center section mount bracket?
Thanks,
Jeff

There are front and rear tow loops on the C4s. Look behind the front wheels and inboard a bit. On the rear, look in front of the rear wheels and inboard a bit.

There are 4 factory mounting points to hold on to the car, although I would not recommend them, I have seen several cars that I have towed, along with several stories of the factory hold downs breaking loose. I'd recommend strapping a heavy duty tie down ratchet mad eof nylon under the rear suspension halfshaft, along with using the front mount points to attach the front, always remember to put the car in gear and put the parking brake on too!
