Default LT1 Collector Edition?

Hello,
Is there any such thing as a '96 Collector Edition with an LT1 engine and an auto trans? I thought that the principle features that made the CE special were the LT4 and a six-speed.
Thanks,
Jim

Default Ce Lt1

Yes, the CE came with the LT1, the LT4 was an option. All LT1s were automatic. All LT4s were manual.

As stated above, 1996 CE cars came with LT1/auto or LT4/manuals.

I have a LT1 CE.

You might be thinking of the 1996 Grand Sports. They are all LT4/manuals.

The CE edition was basically a paint and trim package (RPO Z15) and was available with either of the two power trains offered in 1996: LT4 + ZF6 or LT1 + automatic.

That's what I was thinking too, that was the only model the LT1 couldn't be ordered with...

Hello,
Thanks for all of the answers. No, I was not thinking of a Grand Sport. I'd been looking at CEs for a long time and yesterday was the first time that I found out that a CE could be ordered with an LT1.
