Default Wire Loom

I used some wire loom on my one of my heater hoses to prevent from rubbing a hole. I found out the loom that I used is rated for 195 degrees. Some times my vehicle temp goes over 200 degrees. Will this be ok? Will the water in the hose burn the loom?
Thanks!

Probably not unless runs over 200 all the time. I would wrap the hose with fiberglass electricians tape then install the loom.

Most of the time when sitting at a light in Florida my temp will get to 200 or more. If I leave the loom alone do you think I will have problems?

There is a higher temp loom and all sorts of sleeving , but don't know if it will be in the size you need. Try - www.painlessperformance.com - but why not just reposition the hose? It shouldn't be rubbing on anything I can think of.

The throttle body bypass hose is sitting on top of the lower radiator hose as it goes across to the otherside of the car and under neath the breather hose. I was using the loom to protect it. Do you think the loom I'm using will burn?

Assuming it's the usual cheap plastic sold by the Discounters there's some possibility that it will degrade into a molten mass of mess that you will never scape off the hose. The two hoses touching shouldn't be a problem, but if you think it is, there are better products.
