Much against my better judgement my wife placed our 93 vert on EBAY for 10 days. Now we keep getting notices of renewal EVENTHOUGH she specifically replied and said we did not want to renew the ad.
DON"T US EBAY!!! They are scaming us $58 every ten days!
We are having a hell of a job geting this credit card scam straightend out.

It's more likely your wife erred when making the original listing. I have been using eBay for years and I can assure you that they are not scammers. Your wife likely chose the "Relist Until Sold' option without knowing it. Blaming eBay and making a post here will only make you look just as foolish as your wife. It isn't the fault of eBay, they're only doing as instructed.

And replying to ebays listing renewal email will accomplish nothing. She needs to go into your My ebay page and cancel the listing.

From your "my ebay" page click on selling resources then click on end auction link and follow the steps.. If you contact the people at ebay that deal with disputes, and tell them you made a mistake when listing the car, I'll bet they drop the extra charges.. They are a very customer friendly and will usually do what ever is possible to make members happy..
Agreed. Contact EBay. They are very good at refunding for mistakes. I had a friend's mother list clothing on ebay for the first time. It was a lot of listings at about $1 a piece, but she selected to have them highted which costs an extra $1.50. Ebay charge her a combined total of $500 for all the items. My friend freaked and called ebay for his mom and they refunded every penny.
I've never had any problems with eBay since I joined in Oct. 2001.
They sent me an email a while back with a direct customer service phone number to call if I had problems.
As said above their customer service is very good.
Good luck on your sale.

contact e-bay and tell them to dishonor (reject) all billing from e-bay until situation is fixed. if ebay tries to extract funds, they/it will be rejected.
