OP, every year this question does come up, and it's valid. many on the internet and fleabay, are not reputable and put out junk products.
as some have posted above, if you sell enough stuff, you're going to have problems and issues with people, if only because not all people will ever be satisfied.
when I bought mine in 05, I researched the heck out of them. mine also took very little weight to balance out, the price was very reasonable to buy them, and the shipments went just fine. (ZR1 style, gunmetal gray). and to my opinion, the wheels were excellent, before during and after purchase.
in that time, several posted threads asking just your question(s), and the overall, vast majority said, no problem. since then, I've noted a few on this forum have had an issue with them, but not many.
if it were me, I'd buy from them again.
