oil leaks

Yes typical especially with LT1. I started with the valve covers (95 )and then decided to do new opti,waterpump, timing cover seal and new hub, (if you have high miles on car you may have grooves in the hub which will leak) oil pan gasket 3 times and intake gasket. The previous owner did not use Mobil 1.The bottom of car was fairly dry. I started to use mobil 1 and 5 months later everything was wet. I dont know if it was a coincidence. I still use Mobil 1 but every gasket was replaced. These cars require more care than my other japanese cars but this was my dream car and I love it.

Thank you the corvette is my deam car as well my dad had a 54 and a 62 i think thats where it comes from the car has 81000 on it not too bad i like and have fun with it thank you again
