84 Spark Plugs???
I purchased spark plugs recently (ACDelco R45TS) and discovered that the old R45TS plugs I removed were a different size then the new ones. The new and old plugs had the exact same alpha\numeric
(R45TS)number on the porcelien of the plug R45TS but the new plug was approx. 1/4 to 3/8 longer with different machining on the electrode end. It turns out that the thread length & electrode are the exact same from the taper so I replaced them and the motor runs way smoother now. The old plugs were really rusty on the outside and I wonder if maybe these were the original or close to original spark plugs.
Anyone ever experience this before?Thanks,
-Sivle
