93 Vette Swap
Hey guys,
I have a '93 LT1 'Vette and would like to know the best cam swap there is, I was thinking a CC306 or a LT4 Hot Cam and would like to know opinions and suggestions on what to do, and also if the CC306 would work with the stock heads. Also, what valve train parts would you recomend if I was to get the CC306 cam? Please everyone give opinions and suggestions on this topic, I would really appreciate it.
Also looking for good daily but something that cams hard.

I had the LT4 Hot Cam "Kit" installed on my 95 daily driver along with the HD timeing chain & sprocket kit and also new lifters (LS7) The only other mod that I had previously were LT headers. The nice thing about the kit is that it comes with roller rockers and new springs which is something that I would think that you would want to do with any cam change.
This was then tuned by TJ Wong in Portland (the best in the northwest). I picked up 40 RWHP on his mustang dyno.
As I say mine is a daily driver and half of my trip is at a crawl on the hiway and I have never had a drivablity issue of any kind however he did tune it to idle at about 800 rpm for sitting in traffic with the tranny in drive.
