This should be good.

Mine ("85) rarely dips below 60, and on average at cruising speed, is 66-72.

I've seen it as high as 80, never below 40 at idle.

96K miles, all original lower end, valve seals replaced 6 years ago.

Default oil pressure.

In my opionin, 20 psi at idle would be ok. That would be the lowest. Mine is around 40 at idle, 55 driving. Just my .02

Mines at around 22psi while driving.
Is that too low?

That does seem about 25psi less than I would have expected.

At cold start my '88 L98 (122k miles) is upper 60s for the first few minutes. After fast idle is over it's in the low 40s at idle (750rpm +/-).

At 2k rpm and 70mph at operating temp, it's in the mid 50psi range.

I have seen it as low as 22psi @ idle on an upper 90* day stuck in traffic with engine temps in the standard fan switch range (215-228*).

Oil temps are usually about 10-15* higher than coolant temps.

I don't know if this helps, but there you have it.

That us too low. Check your oil, you are probably a quart low.
