CD player problem with my '93??

CD player problem with my '93??
My CD player seemed to work well and now all of a sudden the "error" message comes up and the CD pops back out??? I was told by someone that the new CD's may not being read by the old CD player?? Seems now like it is not reading the one's it used to read?

Are you trying to play CDs that were burned on a computer or commercial CDs that are pressed like a record used to be done? Both my 1991 and 1994 Bose CD players have trouble with the computer burned CDs, but not commercial ones. My 1994 will play the computer CD just fine one day and not the next. You are not alone with this problem. The Bose CD player in my 2002 coupe plays everything without problems. If your problem is with computer burned CDs, try the commercial ones for a while to determine if you need the unit to be repaired.
