This is the K&N filter and cut lid combo.

You already have an air intake system. Do you mean that you want a different air intake system? If so, why?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to shoot down your idea, but you did say you're new to these things and I find that a lot of guys who are new want things like different air intake systems, but they don't really know why, or how they expect it to help, or why they decided on it first as opposed to some other modification. For what it's worth, most alternative air intake setups do nothing but add horsepower at one point in the powerband while removing it from another point, and it's really a worthless thing to do to a car that's already engineered for optimum flow unless you've already made such significant engine modifications that the air intake has become the weakest link. Which, you haven't, so as of right now you can assume that your air intake provides all the flow that your engine is capable of using. Modify other things first and then think about whether or not you're still getting the necessary airflow.

It would really help if you elaborated on your goals a little bit instead of just saying you want an intake system without providing any reasoning. Tell us what you expect out of your modifications and we will be able to advise you better.

If you want real horsepower stay away from air intake filter systems, the intake manifold is another story though.

The reason people are persuading you away from an aftermarket air intake unit is because the stock C4 air intake system is a very efficient unit. The only mod that is required, even for engines making much more power than stock, is to cut the air lid to allow more air to flow into the intake (or purchase of a unit like Nzzz posted in his link). Other than that the stock unit is plenty large enough to flow all the air you will need. It already pulls air from the forward most point of the engine compartment so it's already a "cold air intake" providing what many aftermarket company's promise to provide (but fail to deliver) but with the advantage of stock component quality.

If you want a (arguably) better looking air intake there are other options that can dress up your engine compartment. That's fine if you understand that that is what you are getting for your money. If you are looking for better performance your money would be spent much better in other areas.
