Default Head light motor help

Looked online and I see that you can buy headlight gears for the motors. My adjustments are hard to get moving and I have to adjust them each time I turn on the lights.

Is that all I need to do, and has anyone done this. Just looking to find out if its easy or a pain. Or do I just look for some replacements???

Thanks in advance

Default Headlight bushings!!!

Go to the tech section and look for the link put out by Corvette magazine on bushings. I printed this out and it was a very big help as it gives you a very detailed instruction. All the aftermarket people sell the bushings. The cost is about $15 with shipping. 99% of the time this is what is wrong with the lights not working properly. The cost for a new motor is at least $250 so it saves quite a bit of money. Print out the instructions and have fun. It is maybe a two hour job the first time and alot less for the second one. Good luck. Allentown Ernie.
