Hello I was wondering if it was better to have a full tank of gas or does it matter when putting the car away for the winter probably until mid- April. Thanks
I would have the tank full. On milder days, I would open the garage/building door and crank the car up. Let it warm-up and rev it up a little a few times. This will keep the parts like valve springs, rings and other parts from taking any fatigue while being stored for longer periods of time.

Depending on where you store it, consider leaving a can on dehumidifier stuff in 20the car. I store mine in a 10' x 20' mini-storage place that maintains 50 degrees. I also leave a couple of boxes of of D-con as a treat for the little creatures that might enjoy visiting with a Corvetter for the winter.

Whenever I see one of these threads about winterizing.I think no matter how much I bitch and complain about living in California, about it's stupid laws,it's high prices, and it's weirdos,I think, man,I don't have to worry a bit about how much gas should I keep in the tank. When it gets close to empty,I fill er up,and keep driving.
Little or no gas is fine also. put stabil in tank .....run car to get stabil treated gas into motor. Will be fine. Why have a full tank of sour gas in spring? Its only a few months so dont go crazy, but if ya store the car for more than a year, drain all fluids! Especially Antifreeze[its corrosive. A friend of mine worked in Vegas years ago as a mechanic a Imperial palace auto museum. Cars there sat years. He showed me the best way to pack a car away for long periods of time. its called storing "dry" Also always disconect battery.

*sniff* only five more months of waiting
I did go visit my car the other day. I am storing it at my mother-in-law's (while I ponder a future garage expansion). I put a set of these under it - they work pretty slick:
Put mouse traps at each tire, and bags of irish springs soap b.c. they hate the smell.
Also put bags of the soap cut up in the car to keep them away.. It will smell very nice in the spring.
I park it with a full tank.
I park it in my garage have a raised ranch no mice etc. Also I usually disconnect the battery, The first year I planned on running around the hood once a week but didnt get to bad winter had a dead battery,But the person I purchased the car from had the receipt from Walmart and went and got a new battery for free. What do you guys do with your battery if you can't run the car in the winter?
Hello,
I put all batteries that are not in use on 'Battery-tenders'! They are great. They are a 'charge-sensitive' unit that only trickle-charges the battery when needed.
