people that slam doors
It's inevitable. You and a friend are getting in your car and you shut the door normally. But he/she has to pull on the door like it's a door on a '74 Chevelle and then "WHAM!".
Am I the only one here that wants to strangle the ever-loving crap out of those who insist on slamming the door without first taking notice of how heavy or light the door is before they shut it???
WHY do they do it!?

I had a room mate in college that used to always slam my truck door all of the time. The last time that he did it, I made him get out and then get back in and close the door properly. He never slammed my door again after that. I'm just sayin' - it worked for me.

i hate door slambers
there is nothing worse when some one slams the vette door on ya or when they go to get in the low sleek vettes, they just about fall them selves in the seat not realising that the seat of the vette is nearly on the ground.
just hearing the vette door slam is just so terrible,i cant stand it.
infact i like to open door, help them into seat carefully and then close the door for them myself.
then there aint a problem,
cheers

Alotta people simply don't have a feel for it. It's the same kinda touch that causes bad mechanics to strip threads, while others don't even need a torque wrench. You know who you are.

I know the feeling, I always have visions of inner door damage to motors and wire connections. Also don't let passengers pull the door by the arm rest. The early C4 door panels are not that sturdy and the panels go for $500.00 a pop. Shoving large screws to hold a worn or broken door panel looks like crap.

I always open and close door for G/f, that eliminates that problem. Others I just tell "don't slam door" My pet peive is her size 6 feet on dash with toes on windshield. Doesn't mater skirt or shorts, their up there.
