Does anyone know of either a replacement analog dashboard on the market or anyone that builds an analog replacement dashboard for a C-4 ? i.e. I've never liked the digital speedo/tach of the C-4s but love my C-4 and much preferred the older C-2 / C-3 dashboards. Any help would sure be appreciated
This is exactly what I have been hoping for !!!!!!
Is there any chance that you might consider building another ?
I am assuming that this design is also plug and play and has been fully tested ?
Absolutely perfect !!!
Man if I only had the time, I would love to convert mine over. But I will lose the features I actually like using which are the coolant temp, oil temp, oil pressure, mpg instant, mpg average, ect...
Okay, i'll try to answer all posts in one note:
1. 89v: yes all is calibrated and tested & got your email will reply with info
2. 120 yes, i have done some with the 140, all depends which speedo i can get at the time
3. Bogus: yes F-body gauges and interface, all wiring is plug and play,
4. Hob: you loose the info center info, but Temp, Oil, Fuel, Battery are there, as with a std analog gauge setup
5. Street: Yes, but as i said before i can only work it with the max of 140 equipment... no higher with this..
* As you can see, its (gauge) mounted directly to a modified dash bezel, so you remove your current bezel, digi unit, unplug, then plug in new connector, install complete unit (bezel and gauge setup) use the existing mounting screw location, tighten and away you go..
* Reverse to go back to origional...

Hope i answered all your questions..
6. can you build one with autometer cobalt gauges?
If you were to sell this as is what would be a good asking price? It would be nice not to go through all the hassle of making this, but just having one that functions more reliably that the digidash.

you don't. the odo gets a notation of error and that's that.
I love the look. What is it? Fbody adapted? That is awesome looking. More info, please!!!!
Understood ... but doesn't that make the title "unclean" .... when I was looking for a Vette, I was always suspicious of cars with "non-actual" odometer readings noted on the title ... just my own $0.02 ...

Not really. If the original dash was still there and there was a "not actual mileage" notation on the title, then I might be concerned.
When someone is thinking about buying the car, first they're going to have to like the new analog dash. If they get past that, the notation is then crystal clear
Very nice ... except the speedo only goes to "120" ...
How do you handle the odometer reading issue if you replace the dash so radically?? Just wondering.
hi-low selector switch is visible (sorta) below the speedo, ''switch'' down for low range 140 mph, up for 300 mph high range numbers on red background...designed especially for use at Grand Canyon Raceway (1/2 mile straight down)
''new'' design, less ''optimistic'', easier for daily use.
local speedo shop can reset to your current miles (abt $50 here) and odom records correctly in low range , miles/2 when in hi range.

Yea, there are docs that outline exactly how to use those gauges and setup... i think its at the batee.com site
