Anyone have one done or ever seen one. Would like to see as many pics as possible.

Was going to get the lid done first then go from there but wanted to see pics first.

Thanks

None of my business really, but why would you want to chrome something that can be so beautifully polished? That's like painting a diamond!

Not true my man.

Chrome and polish look almost the same when clean.
(I think chrome LOOKS better IMHO...can you say sparkle?)
The difference is Chrome is way way easier to keep clean.

I had a friend who had the same wheels as mine.
He polished his..I chromed mine.

The next year he said he wished he chromed them.

Chrome will retain a lot more heat in the intake, not a good thing. I realize that the appearance aspect is a completely subjective matter but I absolutely deplore chrome on these cars, anywhere and for any reason. I love stainless, polished aluminum but not chrome, not on my Vette. Form follows function for me and chrome has no function.

Hi ToniH, at this moment, my red 91 coupe looks exactly like your Avtar...sigh. I've rounded up all of the parts I need to make up a new bumper, right fender well and front crossmember. I pick up the stuff tuesday.

I also love chrome way better looking then polished anyday. I have a hard enough time keeping the rest of my car clean let alone trying to deal with something polished.

Keep the pics coming if there are more.

If youre not a big detail geek (Im not, I hate it) chrome it, dont have to put that much time into keeping polished alum. up but its not my thing. Chrome is easier to take care of. Dont ask me why I polished my other engine, I havent touched it up in years.

I'm a big huge **** detail geek. If I'm not cruising around in the car I'm at the strip or at a car show.

It's just how I am, I don't drive the car if there is 5% chance of rain the day before or after!

I'm just looking for some underhood wow factor.

My car runs on 100 octane so I don't drive it much at $6.00/gal

I don't have windshield wipers either so I never drive in the rain.

I am pushing 600+ hp n/a so that does not mix well with the rain.

I like the chrome so when I pop the hood in the staging lanes
I get a wow factor.

My car was mentioned in two magazines this month (November)
Popular Hot Rodding and Fastest Street Car magazine.

So yeah, I like chrome for how it looks, easy to clean and no, it does not make my car run hot.

I am NOT a detailer.. trailer to the show type of guy either!
