I bought my first Vette in May of 06. It'a a 84 silver on charcoal and had 72K when I got it. Had new tires, battery and alt. Paints good, interior's fair, Everthing worked including the alarm. Gave $4700 for her. Here it is a year and a half later and now with 104K on it. Great car, wife loves it and drives it. About a month agao the air quit. The fitting the switch is in on the back of the compresser broke. Will repair and go back with 134a with a good cleaning of all components. Last week the passenger door window quit working, think its the nylon strap striped. motor runs but window does nothing. Will repace it this winter. On Tuesday morning got in it to go to the store, and the spedo and tach quit. Now I need help on deciding on whether to go anolog or go back digital. I really like the digital, but the cost to fix it and how long till it quits again. I think I can fab one out of a camaro or a bird. Where a good place to get a replacement or send mine to get rebuilt. Price will be the biggest factor which way I go.
THANKS
Rodney
