Polishing Plenum & Runners
I have a few questions about polishing. Can you achieve good results at home? If so, what are the steps to succeed and what products/tools are needed? I know painting can make a world of difference but can you go one better by polishing at home? Thanks for any info and pics of jobs done at home!

This is after being driven as a DD for 6 months and not being cleaned/buffed for almost a year.......so it looks ok. It looks like chrome after it's buffed 
I did the plenum by hand, started with 650 grit paper (iirc) and worked my way up to 2000 grit. I havent got around to the runners yet.........
