I’m kind of new here, and also new to reading and posting in any forums. I don’t understand why some threads are locked. I do understand about sending hostile or abusive messages to people. But I saw a thread today that was cut-off pretty fast and then (locked). I have read the Forum Guidelines (how to post) in the C4 General Discussion area. I’m not looking to pick a fight, but I am curious how this all works.

Sometimes the subject matter will get a thread locked. If I saw the one you're referring to it was because someone was testing the upper limit of his speedometer on a public road. (ANY reference to street racing will most likely get a thread locked as soon as a moderator sees it.)

I wonder if I'm the only one who automatically reads all the locked ones. Kinda like a train wreak, I just gotta look. I think you are refering to the one about willfully going over the speed limit. No street racing or excessive speed on public streets.

your best bet is to PM the mod who locked one and ask why. Most are pretty obvious though.
