i asked the same question a couple of days ago and got:
and after seeing this pic I have to agree. I mean
it is a very cool car but the shade.....ummmm no.

I think they are right next to the curb feelers in JC Whitney.

If not, they ought to be.

Somehow I have come to the conclusion that the less doo-dads that have been done to the exterior of a Vette of any vintage, the better it looks.
