Hey it's mid winter here in alaska and the vettes on blocks awaiting warmer weather but i spotted an add for an 88 vert that i am cosidering buying for the wife.
can you enlighten me on anything to watch out for or things that were not as good or missing compared to my 92 coupe?
i will add the rpo's he sent me to the bottom of this post.
i noticed the tall gear ratio but maybe the mpg will be good with those and the wifes not a hot rodder anyway.plus the l98 is known for its low end grunt so maybe it wont feel to doggy compared to my 373 geared lt1.
the asking price is 7700 bucks which i think i can work on a little bit.
whats the 88 verts goin for in your neck ofthe woods?
this ones in that gorgeous aqua like blue.
what is the correct blue for 88 called? admiral? its a lighter shade.
i was leaning towards finding an lt4 6spd car and giving her my coupe but she does like verts (has a vert sebring now) and this is a very nice looking car.
was there airbags in 88's?
