Default engine bay revisited

Do you guys who clean your engine bay with rags and Simple Green use the Simple Green full strength as it comes in the spray bottle or do you dilute it? Going to attack the engine bay today and don't want to screw anything up.

Thanks, Kim

Full strength, rags, tooth brush, scotch brite pads, portable steam cleaner, assorted scrapers, and go to town - this engine of mine was done that way:

Be very careful with a hose and an LT-1, Opti's do not like to get wet. I would not use a hose on any modern engine compartment, too many electrical connections for water to get into and cause trouble.

Did you polish your own intake? If so, what process did you use? I see I have many textured aluminum surfaces under the hood that I would like to polish to a shine. What is the best way to go about it? I have a 91 L98

Eastwood sells kits for polishing intakes. Sandpaper rolls and buffs with some polish that I can't think of right now.
