beutiful color corvette
Wow, I was behind a 86ish Vette the other day and it was the most beautiful color I had ever seen. For lack of better description it was a very rich platinum color, with a touch of gray in it.
It was along these lines
sorry it's so big.
Any idea what this color is? Also if you know the color code from GM that would be awesome too.

You think what you saw was a custom or factory color? I've seen lots of web pages out there that list the colors that were available for each year. That would be my first resource to come up with a name if you think it might have been factory. Was it something like this?

Might be Silver Beige Metallic code # 59 made in 1982,1986 & 1987 although in 1982 I don't think they called it Metallic.
