New Headlights!!

I bought APC diamond back clear plastic headlight casings from PepBoys, similar to the ones above. They are made from lightweight plastic which is probably much easier on the flip-up mechanics. They also accept standard H4 bulbs, so they'll be no more sealed beams to replace. The plastic is much clearer compared to the sealed beams. The process is exactly the same as installing new sealed beams. It should take less than 20 minutes to install both casings and lights. There are also some other brands available on ebay.
I also bought fake HID / Xenon bulbs from Eurodezigns. They have the bright white HID look but not the increased power for night vision. It got rid of the yellow looking lights like above. I'll try and get a pic posted. In the future I'm going with the real HID conversion. It should be easy to switch to the HID's since I now have the H4 housings. If you want increased vision at night go with the H4 conversion casings and HID's. If you just want to get rid of the yellow lights with a slight night vision improvement go with the H4 casings and some different bulbs.

I made the mistake and found that the plastic housing fit loose in the headlight frame and the beam pattern had a dark spot on the passenger side that I could not adjust out.
If you want to do it once, just get the Hella lens and whatever H4 bulbs you want and be done with it. Also, Don't buy any "extra white, hyper white, ultra white or any other over exaggerated described bulbs as read from this site. www.danielsternlighting.com
Also, don't worry about the extra weight of the glass lens. The stock headlight motors are more than strong enough.
