The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Died twice in the hosp. from that wreck, so I'm going to have a replica of it air-brushed onto the trunk, with the words "I died for this sh*t"!, and call it The Resurrection. Should make a nice Pro Street ride and quick too. My son has his mind set on a Dart little M block to make a 427, with 18* or 15* Brodix's on it, Victor manifold, and spray. Woohoo. Can't wait to take that one for a few passes.

On 1962 thru 1967 Novas, the VIN is on a plate attached to the drivers side front door hinge pillar. Chevrolet moved the VIN plate in 1968 and later Novas to the top driver-side of the instrument panel, visible through the windshield.
I echo a few of the CF folks who replied above - I'd love a 66 or 67 myself
There is always some confussion about the name of the car. When it was first brought out in 1962, it was called a Chevy II. After a few years in production, Chevy added the Nova model to the line. Eventually, the Chevy II name was dropped completely, and it was just referred to as a Nova from then on.
I kept my Chevy II until the mid 80's, finally selling it to a guy at work. I had always had the idea of putting a V-8 (327) and 4-speed in it, but just never got around to it. It was a pretty dependable car, decent mileage and very easy to work on. About once a month...some high school kid would knock on my door...and ask me if I wanted to sell it.....guess I had a classic..and didn't know it.
62-64 2dr Hardtop with either an LTx or LSx, with a 700R4. Not only would it be fast, but it'd get good gas mileage too!
