Corvette history
Does anyone have an email source for Corvette clubs history. The club that I joined 2 years ago in Spokane is going to celebrate their 50 year anniversary in 2008. Some of the older members think that the club was the second club started in the country. The first was some place in California. I would be interested in researching information about old Corvette clubs. Thanks.

Actually the Corvette Club of America, based out of Washington DC was the first Corvette Club. We had our 50th a couple years ago. We were the Charter Club of the NCCC.
We still have a few charter members in our club. During that period there were spotty groups of Corvette Enthusiasts around the country, but none had organized until really later. I have seen some of the old newsletters and legal doumentation of CCA and NCCC it's pretty cool.
Also for clarity - Corvette Club of America .COM is NOT affiliated in any way with the real FIRST Covette Club of America .ORG
