Looks incredible Marcho...... how did you get your valve covers looking like new??
Paint stripper and valve cover paint from Mid America. Up close they look kind of crappy cuz I did a quickie job on them to get the car back together asap. But looks much better than before! I also have a new smog pump and new alternator on there and painted the alternator bracket with the valve cover paint.
My before and after look almost identical to yours-- On mine instead of painting I sanded them perfectly smooth to 2000 grit, and used an aluminum polish. They look way :cool:
But where does a father of young children find the time for such things? What's your secret, man?!?
the 5 year old was staying with grandparents for the holidays.... the 4 month old was at home with us while I was outside working on the car!!! I still had to pay the price.... "you mean you're going to spend our holiday weekend together working on the car???"
looks good to me, Im waiting to do this my self, I have all the gaskets but im afraid to do it beacause I think ill just want to keep on cleaning and I need this as a daily driver hahaha :cheers:
