What does this button do?

There is a button to the left of my cigarette lighter, I don't know if someone put it here or if it came stock. Does anyone know what i'm talking about? :confused:

Its black, small it goes up and down, and it doesn't seem to do anything. I'd take a picture but it's out right now.

Maybe it's a switch to keep the power antenna down when listening to tapes. I installed one and hid it in the center console compartment.

It's definitely aftermarket. Maybe you could contact the previous owner to find out what it was for? Maybe a fan switch?

Very interesting.
Could be 25 different things though. How many wires coming out of the back of the switch?
Is it a button similar to the ASR button, or more like a toggle switch?

I bought it from a dealership in FL. It's a toggle switch, I'll have to take it apart. I thought it was stock but I guess not. :confused:

If it latches in one postion and pops back from the other, it could be a valet switch for an aftermarket alarm system. Do you know if it has an aftermarket alarm?
