I got an xbox 360 and forza motorsport 2 for christmas. I just found there is a gs in the game. It's nice that they didn't leave the gs out. I took this picture with the in game photo option. I think they did a nice job. All the details look correct (emblems, fender flares, etc.) They even gave it a red interior.
I love Forza great game almost realistic driving experiance... however your wrong about the grand turismos... all of them have the GS's in all 3 of them that have been released... In fact in the third one you have to buy it in the used car section.... GT 2 had both GS, ZR-1's and Base Coupe C4's.
i did not know that. I remember the gs in the first two but I thought they left it out of the third. I'll have to dig that game out and look for it
Edit: you are right. It is in there.
I painted the GS silver in the game to match my car.
.....Hurray for me
I think you need to beat one of the american car challenges to unlock this car.
can you post a pic up
In the game pause and go to photo. After you take the pic and save it, it will give you the option to upload it online. Then just go to forzamotorsport.net and log in to retrieve it.
I bought the GS c4 and the Z06 c5, they both sucked at handling so I could not compete in them. I was kinda sad, Would have loved to rock it with the c4
hmm.. I was thinking of getting a 360 with the Forza and Marvell AA package as a Christmas present to myself. If I could just stop spending all my money on damn car parts. Maybe when it gets down to $200. I haven't played the 360 yet. The last console I owned was a sNES.
Haha already there
I won my GS in an online auction - got it for 14k! As it's not unlocked in my game yet - I'm in the Euro zone.
I had to do some minor suspension tweaks to get it to handle the same, and the ride height. The game version is harder to get the rear end out and has virtually no front-end lift under acceleration, unlike my real-life LT4! Other than that, pretty damn accurate. I think the handling and grip is surprisingly good in the game - once you figure out how to tune the suspension it gets even better! Engine sounds more like a Dodge tho
I'm getting a wheel in the next week or so as it's just not the same playing with the controller.
Had the force-feedback Logitech on PS2, but choices more limited for 360.
My handle is LT4Wolf if you want to hook up online!
In a video game situation, how would you compare the performance of an L98 vs LT1? I can just FEEL the low-end torque of the L98 on my thumb, whereas the LT1s broader range makes my thumb sore in the higher RPMs.
In all seriousness, I *might* get a PS2 since they're cheap now. What's the best racing game for it?
What about the old corvette game, I have it for the original Xbox. Funny how I can blow past the LT1 cars in a L98 not very realistic but atleast I can drive my cars in the right colors. What other game would they allow you to drive a L83
Yup, I have that for PS2. Game play is not the best, and the graphics are marginal, but I'm glad I have it. I think I picked it up for $10. It is surely worth that!
