Someone asked me where I got the mud flaps on my 87. I don't know as they were there when I bought the car. The front rotor caps were painted the same as the car but not the back ones. Someone must have loved my car at one time. If anyone knows where to get the flaps, please post it for the member that asked about them....jim
Lets get the terminology right. Mudflaps are on trucks, splashguards are for cars. Like others said they are the Altechs and I put them on as well when I went to 285s up front and 315s on the rear. They have saved a lot of chips in the rocker panels.
You can purchase these from Eckler's or about any other Corvette Vendor. You can find them on page7-8 of eckler's C4 Fall/Winter catolog. Some of the ventor's will even paint to match your car,for a price.

I also like those vents in the top of the hood on the black corvette.
Ricekila, do the vents help with the under hood temps?
"Yes" -- combined with the cut back hood gasket and BMAD -- it does run cooler. In the summer, when I sit at a light, I see heat waves coming out the louvers. When the fan come on --
This summer I'll measure the temps --- I think I can cook a chicken
Those were on my car when I bought it. The first thing I did was remove them! I thought they stuck out, hid the tires, and ruined the look of the car. Personal taste, of course.
The point of the splash guards is to prevent rock chips, which they do a mighty fine job of; however, one side effect is that they rub and leave scratch marks where they contact the body -- also not good.
