Hey just thought I'd state an observation i witnessed. The other day I met a buddy down at the local airport in Edgewater FLA to help him work on his home-built airplane.Anyway, a guy across the way had a real odd ball of a car. It was a 81' DMC. Check this out though....It had 54 ORGINAL miles on it. Not 5400 or 54,000 but 54 miles! Well with my curiousity running rampant I/we became interested in it's value later on in the afternoon. I thought I'd check the internet forums and I asked the simple question after briefly describing it's pristine running condition and all the work that had recently been done on it. I just thought I 'd recieve better treatment. I made sure not to offend anyone by being brash etc.... But I still recieved the cold shoulder. Anyway, I thought I'd take the time to remind you all that this site truly is a great group of people willing to pass along knowledge and wisdom and enjoy each others stories as I know another person joining our site and asking a question like that would be welcomed a lot better. we should all be proud that.
just my 2 cents worth.... let me modify the title of this to read "some" other forums...one namely

This is a great site! Many have helped me over the last few months since my C4 purchase. I have saved ton's of $ by searching and asking then doing it myself.

Huh???

I read the thread. Looked like one poster was drunk or insane and totally didn't answer your question while trying to be funny. The other posts were gracious I thought.

Seemed to me just like our site but smaller. We probably have 10 times as many helpful folks -- and 10 times as many "madmen." Of course a few might be both

Yep, this is indeed a good one! I bailed on one of the sites I used to frequent, because of all the wise-asses that eventually just ruined it for everybody. No monitoring if what went on there untill it just became a shouting match between a bunch of jerks.
Always been treated with respect here, even when I don't agree with some one elses opinion.....but that rarely happens.

they are not a very valuble car, to the right person it may be worth thirty grand, to most people its probably worth twenty to twenty three grand
