peeling wheels

96 wheels are peeling and they look like crap

what can i do to make them look good?

If they are alum wheels :
Easy,use aircraft paint remover
and start wet sanding them down
then buff and polish
you wont regret !

this brings up a good question. Does wheel stand for the tire or the rim.

It's obvious in this case but i guess it could go either way in other cases.
