build papers
I am the origianl owner of 1973 Red vette convertible with 46,000 miles. Where would I begin to look for the build papers. Someone said they might be glued to the gas tank. Would they be on top where you can't see them or on the side? Would they still be there after 46,000 miles or would they blow off. I have driven it in the rain a few times but never in snow or winter time. Any help from anyone? Also the rubber seal around he carb filter ring is sort of smashed out of shape. I have noticed this on other corvettes that are for sale and show pix of the engine. Any way to straighten this short of getting new rubber and glueing it on or how ever it is secured? Thanks,Bob

you will get more help in the C3 section. but you are right there could be a tank sticker on your gas tank.
