And it's a good one too.
The installation instructions are slightly different for pre and post '91 C4s, and when I did mine the only ones that came with the kit were for the later models.
If you've got a '90 or older, you can use this schematic to tap into "keyed" power. I used the Purge Solenoid.

Thanks for the help guys. I see there is a wiring guide, but are the wires labled under the hood, so you know which one is the ground ect...?
My FSM describes DRLs for Canada models. There is a sensor and a module that light the parking lights and turn signals brighter than normal during the day and dim them back to normal at night when the parking brake is not set. I suspect you could buy the sensor and module, follow the wiring in th FSM and have the same "factory" solution that the Canadians got.

Interesting! Would love to hear if someone has done this.
I haven't done it but I have a 93 export car (canada)and my automatic on daytime running lights are my front park lights in bright turn signal mode. They actually dim to give the flasher effect when signalling.Check with GM for cost of the DRL module.
This is actually funny in a way. Most of the C6 owner's I know want to get rid of the DRL's, and now some of the C4's want them. When I picked my car up at the NCM I asked them how to turn them off completely. The guy said you could dim them, but not turn them off. He said they get asked that a lot. I got the same response at the dealer. An LEO can see those DRL's a long way away.

FWIW, the parking lamp filament is about 1/2 the intensity of the turn signal filiment (which is used on the DRL kit), and there's no need to light up every mini bulb on the car and dash just to have the front parking lamps lit.
