Hi!

It`s a 92 6-speed LT1, with quite a few options including Z07. A few little jobs to do on it but in all round pretty good condition. Mileage says 63k.
Apparently imported from Texas in 2004 - there is a little Pennzoil sticker on the top of the windscreen (windshield?) that says when the next service was due and an address Orr Hot Springs, AR. I don`t know if that means the address of where it was serviced or the address of Pennzoil lol - just wondering if it was anybodys Vette on here once?
Anyway it`s gr8 to have a Vette again!
Cheers, bye for now
Dom

Jrzvette the wheels on mine are just 17x9.5 all round - I wouldn`t mind 18`s on the back of course.
btw fuel here at the minute for our normal 95 octane is about 1.05 uk pounds per litre - I think a US gallon is 3.8 litres? so that is about 4 pounds / gallon = um $8 / gallon now! I also have a 1990 Toyota mr2 turbo for everyday use which is a japanese import and needs 100 octane ideally - and that`s pushing 9$ a gallon....
But it`s ok - I enjoy driving more than drinking so i just spend less money on beer and more on my fuel

Oh yeah even though we are in europe we still actually measure distances and have speeds lmits in miles - but fuel in litres.... we used to have imperial UK gallons - and they were the equivalent of 4.6 litres....and most references to fuel economy in the UK are miles per (imperial) gallon.
So I take the Vette to the fuel station, fill up with "litres of fuel", check what my mileage on the trip meter (in miles), read off the "Miles per (US) Gallon" - add about 20 percent to get a reading in "Miles per (UK) Gallon" and then drive off using "Miles per Hour".... well unless I`m in the mr2 cos the speedo is in Kilometers per Hour!
believe me the UK is a strange place

95 octane is your base gas? ours in Colorado is 85!!! the best we can do is 91....and 10% ethanol in the winter to boot!! Frikkin EPA sucks!!
Do you know a guy called Steve?
- I grew up in North Yorkshire so I know very well the kind of roads you'll be enjoying your vette!
I don't miss the fuel prices and speed cameras, but I do miss the corners

btw it's 87, 89 and 91 octane here, at least in Cali anyway, but I'm told the US has a different system for measuring octane - not sure about that yet.
-cheers

Well, yeah, you also drive on the wrong side of the road.

The van`s my sister`s husbands - might come in handy to take to the drag strip with me and put some spare wheels in though! There aren`t many drag strips here - so I`m lucky I only live about 20 miles from the nearest one. Doesn`t open until spring though

I think our 95 ron fuel is about the equivalent of your US 91-92 Octane i`m not 100% sure - and yeah everybody knows a guy called steve :P
Driving a LHD here is ok really - bit of a pain trying to overtake - but I just leave a big gap in front of me so I can c what`s ahead then its no problem. Easier to park sitting next to the kerb as well! A few of my m8`s have Mustangs of different years. I love them as well - I love all American cars - they`re just so different to all the european stuff u c here everyday.
p.s. I come to Florida once or twice a year to get my body used to the sunshine again - so maybe sometime I`ll get to meet up and c some of your Vettes for real.
L8rz,
Dom
Lived there and went to school there, as a wee lad, before your time in Warrington and Isle of Man. Have you seen a sunny day without rain all day?...jim
