I have lowerd my 96´, and I want to do a baseline setting (close to wanted setting) of my front camber and caster. I will take the car to get an 4 wheel aligment done come sping.
I want max possible negative camber, but need some caster too since im gonna use the car for both track days (road racing) and on roads cruise..
When I lowerd the front about 3/4" (shaved wedge install) did I affect the caster? And in what way?
This is my shims situation right now on the driver side..
What to remove to get maximum negative camber without messing the caster up...
I've never done alignments on Vettes, but I can't see how you changed the caster when you lowered the car. from looking at the pics, it looks like you would take equal amount of washers from the top arm out for negative camber. the usual cars I work on (Volvos,Jags) don't have any caster adjustments. most of the camber adjustments that I do are in the rear. If none of this helped, at least it got you to the top of the list
