You know? I remember a time here on the CF that a person could come in, ask a legit question and have half the words spelled wrong, as well as grammar. It made no difference because back then, it was all about Corvettes, some of the best well tempered answers came from people that didn't know the difference between Break and brake-- It was about the information.

The way I see it, when someone comes in and ask a question with a word or two spelled wrong, the one to actually jump him for that is the person (s) that do not know the answer.. Then immediately, the clique will soon follow.. (or lemmings as you prefer)

I used to be a regular here, I learned a lot and I taught a lot, too bad it can't continue to remain the same..

Now comes the silly defensive flames which is ok with me just as long as you realize what I said above is unfortunately true..

I think you are probably going to need teh air tube to get the catalyst hot enough to do its job.

Thanks John, TEH Walker/Dynomax shows it both ways, but with TEH 3
cats factory, I wanted to be certain before I ordered...

I fail to see your point. He was trying to ask a legitimate question, and rather than get a serious answer, he gets flammed for using "teh"? Now I remember why I rarely post on this forum.

FYI, "teh" is internet slang.

Do I need teh air tubes in my converters? I do have to pass sniffer and visual.

Hmm, back on track here...
I'm not sure of teh laws where you're at, but if it were me (and I'm in Kalifornia), I'd find a friendly smog cert place and go in and talk to teh guy when he's not busy. Find out exactly what they look for. Also, check with your local clubs (not just Corvette, but maybe GTO's, or even Mopars and Ferds) and see what they're running. Garner some opinions. Just my suggestions

Mr Speed of Heat (and others that aren't sure what "C4 General" is about), may I humbly recommend soliciting your opinions on http://www.usingenglish.com/forum/ where I'm sure they would welcome your input. Just my suggestion

I've talked to lots of shops about teh emmisions visual inspection, and everyone thus far is of teh same
opinion: As long as there are cats, a.i.r. tubes, pump and EGR, and it passes teh sniffer, I shouldn't have
any problem at all....

When they pop teh hood of teh Z28, I get raised eyebrows, but after a minute, it passes quietly, but it
has a y-pipe....

Hmmm.....a new point was raised by a friend....is my computer going to 'like' teh duals/two converters?

I called my local emissions exemptions site, and teh gent there informed me that as long as I'm running
converters on both pipes, I'm good.

You dont need the air pipe in the catalytic converter. If the rest of you smog equipment is in working order and you have a cat on each pipe you'll be fine. I dont know why gm put air injection lines in the cats anyway. We've got plenty in the exhaust manifolds.
And the reason poeple dislike the use of "teh/pwned/1337/etc." is because generally it makes you sound like a 15 yr old kid. Nobody with serious performance interests likes fads such as improper spelling/trolling/all the other garbage that makes the internet intolerable at times. Dont troll or incite trolling. This isn't a forum about video games or computers.
