Default Engine noise......

This is a short video of my exhaust. I've never really heard the car from outside so I thought I'd give this a shot. In the process of listening to it I noticed quite a bit of what seems to be motor rattles. You can't really hear it in the car. Perhaps it's an echo from being in the carport. Does it seem excessive to you guys? The car has 82,000 and change. Uses no oil between changes.

Sorry for the quality of the video. I haven't used that camera in years and the lense was filthy.

I sounds okay to me, it might be the garage echo. If its not using oil and running okay, I would not worry about it. It starts easier than my 95A4.

Maybe I'll make another one outside the carport to see the difference, if any. It does start really well. I can just reach in the window and turn the key and it fires right up. Even cold.

I don't know if your Vette is the same as mine. I have a 85 that had a rattle in the exhaust. The pipe that is between the exhaust manifold and the cat is a double pipe. It is a pipe within a pipe. Mine was broken. I drilled a hole in it and welded the two together. It solved my rattle for now. I am sure I will have replace it in the near future.
