Default Door lock question

The driver door on my 94 vette will not open with the key fob. Manually with the key or the inside switch it locks/unlocks. The passenger side opens with the fob so the fob is working. Im guessing its a servo or actuator in the door panel. Anyone to confirm the correct part number from a supporting vendor?

Thanks!

Are you sure your using the fob correctly?
The Corvette PKE (Passive Keyless Entry) system is unlike any other key fob you've ever used.

You do not open or lock the doors by pushing the buttons. If the system is on, then just walking away from the car will (should) lock the door. When you walk back up to the car the doors should unlock.

The system can be programmed to only operate the drivers door, or both doors if you want. The system can also be turned off. If it's off, then it won't lock the doors.

First thing I'd try is to stand next to the drivers door. Now hold the lock button on the fob down until you hear the door locks cycle. This will take a few seconds. If the system was turned off, it should now be on. Close the door and walk away with the fob. You should hear the doors lock and the horn beep.

Try that and see what happens.

You can find the full instructions in the owners manual. If you don't have one, you can download a pdf version(1993 - 2006) here:

Also make sure you have fresh batteries in the fob. Mine acted like yours and the new battery did the trick.
