So I have gone and done it... I am looking at replacing the stock bose system. Right now my stuff is up for sale on ebay. My question is if ya'll think my idea sounds like it will be an improvement over the stock bose. I am looking at buying either an alpine, kenwood or eclipse head unit off of ebay and it will most likely be either 45x4 or 50x4 as most of them are. My step brother has donated to me some infinity kappa speakers to fit in the 5 1/4 and 6 1/2 spots. I think those are the right sizes. And I am putting in two kenwood powered 6.5 in subs behind the seats. Do yall think this will be an improvement? if so which head unit should I go with, I wanna do either the alpine or eclipse but I was told by matching the head unit and the subs it would sound better? thanks.
