I have a 92 LT1. Can I swap out the stock ECM and replace it with another stock ECM?

Yes. You will need a ECM for a 92-93 only. Just pull your chip and install it in the replacement ECM. Ever get the fuel situation figured out?

Thanks for asking.
No, I still have a problem.
I posted some inaccurate information as to my original problem. My fuel pressure gauge leaked which caused a false reading. I have that fixed.
Motor starts normally, idles normal, fuel pressure around 42 and holding. After 3 to 5 minutes of idle, motor runs rough a second or two trying to die and then quits. When it quits the FP is still at 42 and holds. It doesn't bleed down for a long time.
Fuel reg. is good. As far as I know, the fuel pump is good since it feeds the fuel line at 42 psi. I held a screwdriver to my ear on the right side injectors and could hear them clicking. Haven't done the left side as I'm having a hard time removing the fuel rail cover. I don't wait to break the black plastic clip on the throttle wire (the one in the bracket). At this point, I don't have a clue as to the cause of the problem.
I thought I had gas in the crankcase but don't. I changed oil & filter yesterday. Thinking about doing the fuel filter today but I don't think that is the cause since the motor runs okay for a while.
Suggestions appreicated.

If the engine dies and the fuel pressure holds steady, I would be looking at the spark next. If it checks out good, check the injector connector harness for shorts. Have you pull the ECM/CCM codes?
