Front Spring Code FJY?
I am looking for a front spring to put on my 87, and I want one that approximates the base suspension spring rate. I found one for sale for a good price that the owner says came off an 85 and is coded FJY. I have searched car fiche and other sources, and am unable to find information on spring code FJY. Anyone out there have any ideas or answers on this one?

The spring coded FJY is the base spring for an '85 only car. It has a spring rate of 335 lb/in.
The base spring for a '86-'87 coupe is coded HKX or HMP, with a spring rate of 296 lb/in (a little softer).
