I have a 93 coupe.
Im assuming that if you leave your lights on and exit the car , you should get
some kind of reminder you left them on. a buzz or beep noise. My car does nothing.
also I just found out that when I was low on gas, the check gauges light comes on
but no noise to get your attention. What got my attention was the car hesitating as
I gave it gas.
I just wondering if this normal , or do I need to track down a bad fuse.
I did a search and didnt find anything with this issue.
any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Thanks for that online manual, It does say
There should be a chime if you leave the headlights on and turn off the ignition.
It does not say anything about a chime for low fuel. ( so i guess this is normal)
Now the question is "Why doesnt my car chime with the headlights on and ignition off"?
Everything else works , Im guessing that there wasnt a dedicated fuse for this.
The manual gives no further info on this matter.
Any ideas?
could it be a bad ignition switch?
Thanks
You need a factory service manual. You need to find the chime in your car, there is a box that does that, and see if it's getting sent a signal. That's where I'd start.
