Default What does "LO" mean

When I let my car sit for a few days without driving and I start it up, sometimes "LO" will appear next to the speedo readout for a few seconds and then go to what I have my display default at (coolant temp) I'm guessing it means low on fluid? I checked it and everything checks out ok. Tried looking in my Helms but I guess I didn't dig deep enough.

It just means the coolant temperature is below a certain point. I think the lowest value the coolant temp can read is about 30F. Nothing to worry about.

It means its cold outside. The oil temp will show the same message. Just drive it at low revs till these temps start coming up a bit.

If the water temp is below 32 degrees it will display as "LO" on the digital gauge.

Same for the oil temp.

The engine coolant temp sensor for the digital gauge is in the water pump housing. It will read LO when the coolant is cold (32*).

On the pre-'90 Digi-dash cars, anything below 100* reads as LO.

Now I know why I've never seen that on my dash.
