Default Lt-4 Emblem

Could someone please tell me this. On the bumper of the lt4 rear there is a lt4 emblem only on SOME LT-4's why is this.

Not factory, so any with one was added by the owner.

The LT4 has been around for 12 years...none came with badges on the side or rear...but many places sell thse emblems and over the years many LT4 owner, Original or afterwards, probably put them there.

Had a decal shop make me some w/ chrome lettering. They really stand out nice...in fact, this pic does not do them justice. They are not raised and look like they were painted on.
